Steve has been our corporate counsel since the early 1980s. He has provided invaluable assistance on a variety of governance and employment matters. We have a wide range of legal issues that come up from time to time and his knowledge of our organization and his experience as an attorney have provided us with excellent representation. In one particular employment matter we challenge the state's Department of Employment Security (unemployment insurance) on an eligibility claim. Despite the circuit and appellate courts ruling in our favor, the state pressed the matter up to the State Supreme Court where Steve presented our case and argument resulting in that court deciding in ouf favor.
